As a fractional CTO, I take ownership of your technical side without the cost of a full-time executive. I have been writing software since 2003, and I also studied technology entrepreneurship and marketing communications, so I weigh engineering decisions against customers, risk and money. Every architectural decision should help your runway and your growth.

Fractional Technical Leadership & Team Building: I join growing startups or stalled projects and set up a predictable way of working. That means CI/CD pipelines, pull-request reviews, and automated tests that keep the product stable (on one platform, the suite grew from 450 to 10,000 tests). Once delivery is reliable and your team or local tech lead is trained, I step back and hand the work over.

Applied AI & Trust Architecture: I add AI to products in regulated settings, mostly B2B fintech. Instead of depending only on expensive cloud APIs, I train small language models (SLMs) for your domain that are cheap to run and can run on your own hardware. The AI only assists people. Reconciliation and final accounting changes use human-approved, deterministic data.

System Modernization & FinOps: I turn fragile or hand-managed infrastructure into systems defined in code. I was part of the team that moved a live payment platform to a type-safe GraphQL API, and I have moved manual GCP and AWS setups to Terraform. I also cut cloud costs by right-sizing resources and running workloads in parallel, because lower infrastructure cost means more runway.

Engagement Model: I work as a B2B technical partner through MDSW. Sometimes I am the founding engineer who takes an idea to a first product. Sometimes I guide an existing team from outside.
